It’s becoming harder to make money from the Internet these days. Seasoned and new entrepreneurs can find a host of advice and claims about get rich-quick methods and schemes that it’s very easy to become sidetracked. However, the more seasoned amongst us have tried so many methods that we understand that nothing comes for free but a lot of hard work and determination is required to gain success. This takes time and building a business on the Internet is not something you can do in a few months let alone a few days. If you are seeking to give up the day job then start now and build up slowly. In a year or two you might be ready to make the move to a full-time internet business.
You might find this discouraging but the Internet has all kinds of business types and income streams and is very quickly reaching saturation. Gone are the days of the quick money kill, unless you are unusually gifted and have 24 hours a day to spend.
Having completely put you off earning your living from the Internet let me encourage you to start and continue trying. There are difficult ways and easy ways to earn an income. My difficult list would include income from click-throughs and some kinds of affiliate sales that return next to nothing. It’s so difficult to generate enough traffic to make these worth while.
On my easy list would be selling your own products, especially if you can make them. This includes information products and actual physical items. If you have a hobby and enjoying making craft items then this could be an opening. It’s unlikely you will sell millions though and if you did how would you supply all those items? The information product is definitely easier to produce as it’s just a copy of the original and instantly produced and delivered. But to sell millions – how is it done?
The resources are out the on the Internet. Firstly, you need a product. You can either create your own from your own idea or by copying what someone else has done. I don’t mean infringe their intellectual property rights, but see how they have created an information product and base yours on theirs. A different subject perhaps but you can’t use their working, pictures or graphics. It could be an eBook or if you’re a programmer a piece of software that someone will find useful. There are several sites that can help you get started. These include.
http://www.web-source.net
http://www.selfpublishebooks.com/

Once you have a product you can create your own website to promote it. That is quite difficult so it’s best using either Clicksell (www.clicksell.biz) or Clickbank(www.clickbank.com). Clicksell is free and has no charges; however it costs about USD55 to register with Clickbank.
These sites allow you to register your website (yes, you still need one but only a few pages) and they handle the sale for you, pay the affiliate who brought you the sale and pay you the remainder, less a little commission of course.
