So now you have your niche do some research. Go into Google and type in your market niche in the broadest sense. See who is there ranking already and see how many results are returned. This will give you an idea of who to beat and how many pages are already in the search engines for this term.

Again, it's best to think long term.

Start and build your site at least more than 20 pages to start. Select topics that can be subdivide from main topic. Generally because they are looking for unique content and it's highly unlikely that a brand new site is going to have good ranking. Develop and keep adding pages with more relevant linking to your site. Patient play very important to the success of your business. It takes 3 to 6 months your website to get good ranking and appear to the specific targeted keywords in search engine such as Google, MSN and Yahoo.
